Marian Sainyam About Us
The Marian Sainyam spiritual movement was born in January 1999. During an evangelism proclamation by a group of young people from the Charis Bhavan School of Evangelism batch, they were inspired by the call for 'New Evangelization' by Saint Pope John Paul II. Under the Pala Zone of the Kerala Charismatic Group erala( Catholic charismatic renewal
0 (KST), in the Muttuchira Subzone, a youth prayer fellowship was started in our parish. This group was officially inaugurated with the name 'Holy Mary Immaculate,' proposed by Fr. Joseph Paravummel. Every Saturday, prayers and retreats were held.
With the belief that prayer and action must go hand-in-hand, in 2003, Marian Sainyam's founders, Siju Paulos and Liju Paulos, began a new mission. They brought three neglected sick individuals into their home to care for them. For these charitable activities, their father, Kizhakkedathuprayil Mr. Paulos K.K., generously donated land. With the help of well-wishers, a building was constructed for the sick, allowing them to accommodate more patients.
In 2005, this initiative was officially registered as a charitable trust under the name 'Marian Sainyam Charitable Trust.' Currently, the Trust cares for over 100 patients across four institutions in Kerala
